First off how do I get on the committee to help map out districts for next year?
I know this is 10 Weeks after Districts are posted but I found a possible different scenario that probably make the Quarterfinals and Semifinals closer and pinned the top 2 best teams on opposite side of the brackets.
D5 and D6 in Class 4 might be one of the longest Quarterfinal round trip matchups in 3 weeks maybe over 10 Hours Round trip. What if MSHSAA would have put some D1 and D2 schools in the same district and add osage to that district? Some of the D1 and D2 Schools are closer to D6 Schools the D5 Schools??
Look at the bracket if MSHSAA would of done this
D1 Festus vs D2 Lutheran North
D5 Hillsboro Vs D6 Winner
D3 Parkway North vs Hannibal, Kirksville or Warrenton
D7 Winner vs Kearney

They flip what districts play against each other so that if a region has the 2 best teams they can still possibly meet in the state championship.
If we keep it close we go back to listening to that complaint.
You may see it work this year if BSS and LSN meet in the ship
BSS (or whomever wins D7) has a far easier road to CoMo than LSN (or LS/Rock) will. The latter hosts Nixa then has to survive that to face CBC in St. Louis in the Semifinals.
