I agree.Read that as well as the 8 man... Imo they all should be in Springfield.
So next year MSU will host JUST the Class 6 and 8 man?KCPreps reported That the class 6 championship game will be played at MU the week prior to Thanksgiving. Will go back to MSU next year.
After reading several articles I believe all the games will be at MU next year. And if I read it right the class 6 game will still be one week prior to Thanksgiving. So next year MSU will host JUST the Class 6 and 8 man?
Mississippi rotates between Ole Miss and Miss St among other SEC states. It's not our fault Carnie Smith was already booked.Hey, don't you guys remember certain people claiming that SEC rules or regulations would prevent MU from EVER hosting the High School Football State Championship? I guess that was inaccurate...

Seneca. Crouch Jr. That's all I have to say.
Well. The class 6 schools have been trying to get ride of the 2 weeks off between the semi's and finals. That I believe had more to do with it than snubbing MSU.Sounds like the class 6 powers in KC and STL are snubbing MSU and Springfield and apparently have enough influence at MSHSAA to get their own special deal. The good thing about them having their championship elsewhere and not on thanksgiving is that it starts to erode the thanksgiving event that has pushed the start of the season into mid august. Logistically, Columbia is probably somewhat closer to most C6 schools... I think Joplin and Kickapoo are the only C6 outside of KC or STL.
