Lots of SWMO love here. Between Class 4 and 5, there are 6 COC teams in the top 10's. Some of these class 5 COC teams won't be in the top 10, since they will knock each other off. But I understand the difficulty in choosing who. CJ will have a huge challenge in class 4 playing this tough COC schedule week in and week out.

Staley not in the top 10, and Fort O at 4? Who comes up with these rankings!? lol

Fort, of course, lost all everything QB Skylar Thompson and many defensive stalwarts but have a very good RB returning and will be a handfull...................have posted a couple of times since the skeds came out: Kearney at Fort Osage opens the season August 19 and will likely be another low scoring war. CANNOT WAIT!

My Top 4

1) Chaminade
2) Park Hill
3) Fort
4) Staley

Don't know enough about the St.L Schools

Just curious but what is the rationale, or are they just guesses based on history? I would like to see the COC with 4 of the top 10 but Carthage just sent 7 seniors to play in college so it seems like a rebuilding year is likely but who knows. Nixa and Willard both graduated their main engines as well. I don't know what Neosho is looking like - they may be one of the few COCs that are better next year than last but regardless, a top 10 seems like a big stretch for the wildcats. I hope I'm wrong but that seems overly optimistic for the COC which was very senior heavy last year.

Liberty North should be very good this year. Maybe the best interior line they have had since opening. Watch RB Redmon that kid can flat out fly. If he gets a step on anyone forget it - not to many will run him down. They did lose a lot from graduation on the back end of the defense but the numbers at LN are pretty impressive so they should be able to replace.

Anxious to see the RB from Liberty- Rawie this year as well, only a junior, but really had a great sophomore season. Liberty was very young last year but still think they are a ways off from competing

Moving Park Hill to Class 6 makes the Class 5 side in KC pretty open. Park Hill would have certainly been the heavy favorite from this side of the State had they stayed in Class 5.

Agree wholeheartedly about Park Hill my KC Metro #1 preseason. Still think C5 is a three horse race in this area between the obvious: LN, Staley and defending champ Fort.
