Smithville vs Kearney (will the hot moms be the key to success again)
West Plains vs Boliver (will Liberators find a way)
Hannibal vs Jeff City (Blow out first time, but with the best RB in state out, can JC win)
Hillsboro vs Festus (blow out first time around, will it be the same)

Smithville at Kearney rematch thread inbound once I put everything together................

Unfortunately, I’ve already got a date to the formal this year, thanks for asking though
Seriously. Even just going to Columbia for the championships would be good for you. You'd enjoy it, even if you have to have somebody else drive once you get to town. Get out of BFE for the weekend.

I’ve went to the state championships at least 6-7 times in the last 20 years so I assure you that I am not lacking there.
Also been residing part time in St Louis and Springfield both for the last 4-5 years due to work, so… not exactly BFE 🤣🤣

Sure. Which is fine if that's what you have.
This game will be a physical war. Kearney's RBs are all underclassmen ergo returning (along with a whole lot of other key contributors) next year. Smithville is "all in" this year their feature back is a SR. Barring injuries the winner of this one should face St. Mary's in the semis.............

Ergo or no ergo, the winner of this one better take it one game at a time.

Oh they do. Pays to remember who the defending Champion is and how many contributors return. I am already giving away some of my thread about this game but I do know they are both much more physical than the next opponent. Go back to Kearney at Fort O Week 2 for example..............

I'm interested to see if Grace for Kearney plays any defense in this next match up. Would make for some all time collisions!

We are FINALLY at the big stage after both had to wade through a bunch of mismatches. Neither will leave anything on the table and YES that could be a very good run stopping wrinkle. Grace is a superstar and we all know those are the players who shine when games like this arrive!

Anxious to see how Minnick coaches in this one. I think the bulldogs can win by 2 TDs

Grace plays D on Kearney. Had three sacks on Belton and caused the fumble on the KO versus Excelsior Friday. The Soph.

Gotcha! I didn't remember seeing him on defense during the first match up or during the Belton game but I wasn't watching the Belton game super close as I was bouncing back and forth between games. Thanks for the update

West Plains better not look past Bolivar. They have seemed to get better as the year has went on and can definitely give the Zizzers problems.

Cautiously going to say Zizzers by 10.

I went to all four regular season home games didn't see this, either.

Screw the Lamar game. I’m down to watch some Kearney moms in leggings and Ugg boots.
Man I can tell you they have been working hard for this moment!
