Class 4
District 1--Sikeston Bulldogs 23-4--Coached by Greg Holifield
The Bulldogs hit a rough spot in their last 4-5 games of the season but appear to be playing well @ the present and that could be bad news for the Hillsboro Hawks. Sikeston has a very young team but all propose talent Fred Thatch plays for the Bulldogs..

District 2-Hillsboro Hawks---25-3--Coached by Dan Johnson.

The Hawks play a modest schedule to say the least. I'm guessing the Hawks biggest wins are against Farmington and Liberty-Wentzville. The Hawks were defeated by the Parkway Twins ( West and Central ) back @ the Parkway West tournament..

Favorite to win section game-----If Sikeston comes to play--Sikeston wins but I can not lock because of the rough spots during the last 6 games of the season.

District 3 St. Mary's Dragons 25-3 coached by one of the best Kelvin Lee.

The Dragons have had a successful season by winning their league, The Meramec Christmas Tournament, wins over CBC and others. The Dragons do not have great size ( 6'6", 6'4" Range ) but play big. I talked with Kelvin Lee before the Borgia game, he stated to me, " The success of our season will be played against Vashon on 3-7-17. I have the Dragons in an underdog role on 3-7-17 but we can never count out a Kelvin Lee coached team.

District 4--The Vashon Woverines 22-3 coached by Tony Irons.

There are no doubt, The Woverines are favored to win a class 4 state championship latter this month. The Woverines have too much size ( 6'8', 6'8" ) and skill @ the guard positions.

I have a Sikeston-Vashon game in the quarters with Vashon going to Columbia. This game has been on most fans " Radar Screens " since the season started and it's just a heart beat away from reality.

Well played game. Sikeston kept their composure. Great shooting from the FT line. Good team as always.
