Class 4--Districts 1-4

District 1 @ Cape Notre Dame
We have three teams who could win district one ( 1. Notre Dame because of the home court 2. Cape Central because of talent 3. Sikeston-- Talent graduated but Greg Holifield and Tradition did not graduate. Both Greg Holifield and Tradition gives the Bulldogs a chance.

District 2 @ Park Hill Central
1. Park Hill is the favorite because of talent and a new attitude but do not own the " Tradition Card " but a " Good Luck Card in the form of Allen Davis may be enough.

District 3 @ St. Mary's
1. St. Mary's because of the home court advantage

District 4 @ Westminister
District 4 Has only one team with a losing record. I have five teams with a chance to win this one

1. Westminister--9-3 Home court may come into play in district 4
2. Borgia----------7-6---The Knights own a " Tradition Card " and could flash it when needed. People say Coach Dave Neir is lucky. Dave has been lucky for 25 years
3. Washington---10-2---The Bluejays have talent but don't own a " Tradition Card ".
4. Priory--10-2
5. Summit 7-5---Summit could be a surprise team in this district however they do not own a " Tradition Card ".

The odds on favorite to play in Springfield is Cape Notre Dame but heavy competition will come from Cape Central and " New Kids " Park Hill Central.

It's incredible how weak District 3 is since nobody has a winning record. District 4 on the other hand has five teams with winning records and the one team doesn't (Pacific) just beat Washington. I think it'll go down to Borgia or Westminster, but won't be surprised if Priory makes a run. Summit is a surprise team, but just lost two games to Parkway Central and Parkway North who aren't remarkable.

not too sure about that Park Hills Central "do not own "THE TRADITION CARD"...….there are an awful lot of DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP BANNERS hanging in the Fieldhouse at Park Hills Central! Not to mention the current group of seniors to this point own 2 district championships and a second place finish through their first 3 seasons!

Class 4 District one is usually owned by the Sikeston Bulldogs. It appears Sikeston will be a third seed this year behind Notre Dame and Cape Central.
I will lock the new kids Park Hill Central to win class 4 district 2 and the sectional if it's played @ Farmington.

sectional game is at the Civic Center in Farmington, and the quarterfinal game will be played at Jefferson College.

Not sure if I would lock down Park Hills Central just yet. Let's see how the game goes Tuesday night between PHC and Cape-Notre Dame. Should be an interesting game. PHC shot the ball extremely well against Sikeston. Also, PHC not very deep so IF they got certain players into foul trouble., that could cause problems even in the district. No doubt, though, PHC should be the favorites to win the district.
