Damn, someone making a road trip for a qtr final between district 7 and 8.

Let's say form holds and Kearney wins its district and so does Warrenton. This would make a THIRD consecutive trip to the east side of the state for the Bulldogs BEFORE the title game (2015 semi at Westminster, 2016 semi at Ladue). Nuts.

Sorry - your Smithville and Harrisonville picks are very unlikely.

What's unlikely about the Harrisonville pick?
I just find that whole stretch of the season from Savannah to Grain Valley to be subpar for any team I'd feel confident of winning three straight to win the district.

Grandview is big, physical and has some speed at key positions.

A loss (even though close) to Grain Valley in regular season = another away game in their house for district championship.

It's just my thoughts. I think unlikely.

Last years brackets were way better. I don't like that the best two teams will be playing in the semifinals on the non St. Louis side of the bracket. I would like to see opposite sides of the state match up in the quarters.

In district 7 Hannibal is the 3 seed and Helias is the 4 seed. Helias had the higher point total but Hannibal beat them head to head so they flip flopped.

Liberty Wentzville to Savannah is 279 miles - 4 hours 9 minutes
Warrenton to Savannah is 259 miles - 3 hours 54 minutes
Helias to Savannah is 224 miles - 3 hours 23 minutes
Hannibal to Platte County is 207 miles - 3 hours 17 minutes
Kirksville to Platte County is 165 miles - 2 hours 48 minutes
Moberly to Platte County is 180 miles - 2 hours 45 minutes
Marshall to Savannah is 152 miles - 2 hours 20 minutes
Warrensburg to Savannah is 133 miles - 2 hours 8 minutes

Borgia will not beat Ladue STAMP that.....

West Plains will turbo Bolivar, probably worse than they did a few years ago (and that's when Bolivar was state ranked), so Calpreps is wrong. Again.

Thanks for sharing the link. It went to a site listing all of the games. I watched the Grain Valley game. Is that the game you wanted me to watch?

A lot of penalties against Cats and a prayer drive to end the game with no time on the clock.

If the penalties are more even (or a cleaner game), I think Cats win by perhaps two scores. Still playing in their house but should be plenty of motivation from the Cats to avenge the loss if both teams cross paths in the district.

Thanks again for the link. I'm interested in watching several of the games particularly the Savannah, PC and Ex Springs games.

Most of district 5 opening round games will be uncontrolled 50+ pt spreads. Just hope that everyone makes it out injury free. Would love to see some of the freshmen get some game time also.

4/5 matchup between Camdenton and Hillcrest could be a dandy. Winner gets thumped following week at Webb City.

Um... because our first game was tied at half. Because with a fue lucky breaks you pulled out the game. because ur win was week 1. because the margin between the teams has shrunk to now a single score on cal preps. because scores from like opponents has been identecal. because my Bulldogs are hungry. Do i need to go on?

No you need to just go away

Willard 14-7 mid way through third.
WC 41-3 at the half.

Nixa 21-0 at the half
WC 38-0 with 9 min left in 2nd qtr (starters removed)

Pittsburg played with their 3rd string QB (enough said)

They haven't been anywhere close. WC starters out at half for most games. Stamp it and go ahead and send it twooooo Momma.

Game 1 - Smitty was not preparing them for CJ! This time he will be, CJ might not even score this time.
