Class 4 and 5 games

All St. Louis schools, including Catholic schools, just closed.

That clicking noise you hear is the first domino falling.

Seeing now that games are going to start Friday. Why would they push it back??

Wondering if they're going to call IWA-CJ the championship game? They are the highest ranked of the 4 teams.

They could play all 8 semifinals Friday, and all 4 championship games Saturday. BUT, there's a new fly in the ointment: The St. Louis schools - public, private, charger - will be closing no later than Wednesday (per the Post-Dispatch). Six St. Louis teams in the semifinals, plus Kickapoo (in Greene County which has had 2 of the state's 5 reported cases) and Carl Junction. Calling my shot: Class 4 and 5 will be canceled by 2 p.m. Monday. Hope I'm wrong...

They should be starting this tomorrow or Tuesday. By Friday this country will be locked down.

The new schedule is on the MSHSAA site. All semis on Friday. Finals on Saturday.

So disappointing that Katie Scott and the other seniors won't get their chance to play for a championship, especially after Class 1, 2 and 3 just played.

Absolutely not!
Realistically- the winner of IWA/CJ probably would have gone on to beat next opponent for Title. IMO- If the Carl Junction team would have played for a St Louis or Kansas City school--they would've been ranked #2 during the year. Too late now-- I just feel bad for all teams.

The difference is IWA will be back in this spot next year and CJ....will have a hard time doing that.

Realistically IWA was beatable this year as opposed to prior years. They lost some games that many thought they should not have. As well as Lincoln Prep lost many games they shouldnt have. If we're speaking in terms of strength of schedule and athletics. Lincoln would have beat Notre Dame. CJ would have probably given IWA a run for their money the 1st half but IWA would have came out the winner thus creating another match up between IWA and Lincoln. That game would have been worth seeing....IMO

I don't think this was IWA's year. Carl Junction would have beaten IWA this year. Lincoln and Carl Junction would have played for title. SWMO teams generally get underrated. It's not like Shorter has never beaten IWA before or won a Title. IMO
