1st trip ever to state title game for Reeds Spring and you find a way to discredit it..what a loserCongrats to reeds spring… but goodness that has to be one of the weakest class 3’s in recent memory. A ton of small class 4’s and big class 2’s wishing they could have had the Wolves path to the title game.

Discredit? 🤔
Calling someone a loser because a certain classification is weak?
I bet you’re real fun at party’s.. 😂
“Congrats to Reeds Spring”….. 🧐
We’ve got a new poster who will be around for a whole month1st trip ever to state title game for Reeds Spring and you find a way to discredit it..what a loser
Cardinal Ritter is not weak at all. They would have a chance in class 4 I’d say. But after that, there was a lack of elite teams, several class 2 schools that would have been able to get past everyone but CR. And a lot of class 4’s that barely missed out on class 3 dreaming of what might have been as well. Not discounting anyone’s seasons or accomplishments, just making an observation, and that’s the way it goes from time to time.If you've ever seen Pleasant Hill's HC I dare ya to tell him C3 is weak.

He's probably from SenecaWhat on earth are you bumbling on about?
He said that Reeds is the greatest Class 3 team in the history of historyWhat on earth are you bumbling on about?
Yeah I imagine Center would have loved to have still been Class 3.Cardinal Ritter is not weak at all. They would have a chance in class 4 I’d say. Center vs. Cardinal Ritter would have been a fun one. Lions probably still roll, but at least the yellow jackets would have had a punchers chance.Yeah I imagine Center would have loved to have still been Class 3.
Or what if Nevada had been class 3 (they have to be pretty close to that size?) they would have probably been in the same district as Reeds Spring, wolves wouldn’t even have won a District Title… crazy to think about how much of a difference on the post season the classification breaks really make.Yeah I imagine Center would have loved to have still been Class 3.
Probably. But I don't blame Reed's Spring at all for their bracket. They didn't make the system. All any team can do is win all their damn games. And they've done it. Doesn't mean they won't get smoked next week. A pretty good Pleasant Hill team did today.Center vs. Cardinal Ritter would have been a fun one. When you're done spewing out your silly hypothetical situations, let us know ok?Or what if Nevada had been class 3 (they have to be pretty close to that size?) they would have probably been in the same district as Reeds Spring, wolves wouldn’t even have won a District Title… crazy to think about how much of a difference on the post season the classification breaks really make.
I agree, nothing they had control over. And they should all be proud of their season and accomplishments. They won several close games down the stretch and got it done when it mattered most.Probably. Ok Done! Pretty sure we’ve covered all the fun ones. When you're done spewing out your silly hypothetical situations, let us know ok?
Fun fact, I played football with him my freshman and sophomore years in high school! If you've ever seen Pleasant Hill's HC I dare ya to tell him C3 is weak.
No one is discounting the Wolves accomplishments. Just pointing out class 3 is fairly weak. They won, they played who was in front of them, and got to the title. Awesome for them. Hats off to you guys. When you're done spewing out your silly hypothetical situations, let us know ok?
Last year I wished I had ear plugs. They played that Tech n9ne song over and over. (Red Kingdom) The speakers were fairly loud too. That’s my only negative thing I’m going to say about Reeds.Ok Done! Pretty sure we’ve covered all the fun ones.
RSWolves I’ve always thought you guys have one of the more beautiful stadium set ups. But what is the name of that damn wolfe song they always play at the home games? Ruins the experience every time I’ve been to a game.
It makes me wonder if a kid is doing it. It just doesn’t seem like someone an adult would do up there. It’s why I didn’t go to the Sullivan game in Reeds; the most annoying stadium audio in the state (and it’s not even like their crowd participates with the audio; it’s just loud and annoying…)
…the scoreboard operator also plays that music clear into the visiting team’s offensive snaps; if I coached a visiting team there, I’d be in the ref’s ears early about it.

And that's nothing against Reed Springs. I am assuming CR takes care of business. But having watched the previous three on multiple occasions, I would wager they are the best three teams in class 3. It's a little different this year, given Blair Oaks, Lutheran North and St. Mary's are either not as good(LN) or not in Class 3. It's opened it up a bit.Stag: Guessing you have not seen Reeds Spring play. You are just assuming. While I am far from an expert, having seen them a couple of times. They may not be Ritter but they are much better than some folks on here are giving them credit for. They lost early in the year to Nevada and a few weeks later to Seneca. Having seen all three schools in the last month, I think Reeds Spring is clearly the best of the three, in my eyes. Again, I could be wrong, Im just a football fan that likes to see multiple teams. The Big 8 seems to get teams ready for the post-season more than a lot of leagues.
I think you can definitely make the case things are watered down. Don't necessarily think Class 3 has been weak. I think 5 has been weak a lot of years since we went to 6 classes. And I think 2 has had a lot of weak years.Class 3 has been weak for a while now. 1 to many classifications has watered things down.
Definitely not weak at the very top, but there hasn't been a competitive state championship game in 6-7 years. Lots of blowouts in the quarters and semi rounds. If we have seen multiple state championship games in that time frame be turbo clock games, then we need to re-evaluate what we are doing. It'd be a lot more competitive playoff atmosphere with 5 classes, or 4 and then have the 5th class just be the private schools beating each other's brains in.I think you can definitely make the case things are watered down. No "we" don't. The teams that are getting their brains beat in do. Or, worse yet, the teams that got beat by the teams that got their brains beat in.If we have seen multiple state championship games in that time frame be turbo clock games, then we need to re-evaluate what we are doing.
Maybe not weak, but slow.If you've ever seen Pleasant Hill's HC I dare ya to tell him C3 is weak.
Are you sure about that? Reeds barely got by MV and beat a very bad cAssville team by just a TD in districts. I have seen all those teams play this year including Reeds and not saying Reeds is not a good team, But no way are they better than Nevada Seneca or Lamar.Stag: Guessing you have not seen Reeds Spring play. Is Class 3 weak or is class 2 very top heavy? Saw many schools play this year including several Class 3 & class 4 schools and one Class 4 team that went to the semis. And the best team we played all year by far was still a class 2 school.Class 3 has been weak for a while now. 1 to many classifications has watered things down.
Uh oh don't say All Star. USArmyMike is on watch for that phrase..............never said a word about Lamar. Did not see the Cassville game, but wasnt that the week of the crazy wind and rain? I believe that game was played over two days. I discount that a little. That Seneca-Reeds game was tied late. But, the Reeds team I saw Saturday in person and what I saw on video vs Osage is better than anything I saw from the Indians this year. They are playing their best at the right time. And, they may very well get hammered on Saturday, against that ALL-STAR team. I just dont think they are getting near the credit they deserve. Nixa, Carthage, and Lamar are the best teams I got to see in person this year though.
