Savannah. Something tells me a likely quarterfinal matchup with Odessa will be very high scoring.

Monett? Brutal district. If they can survive that, I could see the Cubs in the final4. They been there and done that.

I like the way you think Revno!! Be pretty cool if the Eagles and Cubs could make it that far this year. Monett starts their 2019 revenge tour this Friday.

Savannah won close against a very down pleasant hill team. With the exception of Maryville I don't think the MEC is what it used to be since smithville left
To be fair, Week 2 P Hill was totally different than week 9 P Hill.... they lost a bunch of close games earlier, and it just started snowballing, but they are a capable team.

Savanna is a good team, their district is really weak tho. They have already beat Chilli by 35.

Odessa is very tough, would be a favorite in C4 or C5

Could very well be but Odessa is light years better than Pleasant Hill from what I watched and I doubt Savannah would be able to compete with them

I think we heard this once about another team, possible Maryville back in 2016? But honestly It does look like Odessa is playing some pretty good ball right now.

Yeah, I agree. I was just saying Savannah is a good team, I just don't think it's close against Odessa.

I mean looking at the side of the bracket they would be on in class 4 I could see them making the semi or maybe the title game but I don't know about winning it

Idk if you can call them a sleeper, considering they are ranked in the top 5, but I don't see many people talking about Kennett. Their schedule doesn't appear to be very strong, but what do you expect playing in the doldrums of Southeast Missouri.

I don’t know about being the favorite in 4/5 for either of them. I do think Maryville beats Monett 7/10 times in 16. I know some will disagree. And it doesn’t matter because they weren’t the best when I did matter.

I also think Odessa beats Maryville 8/10 times last year, but they didn’t the time it mattered. And that is why the games are played.

Odessa is really good and all, but they really haven't played anybody. I've seen several of their games online, and yes the scores look good, but they weren't just flat out dominating teams. Not like the scores would lead you to believe. I know pretty much all of their conference games, the starters played the entire game, even with the turbo clock going. I think Odessa's O line and D line are their strengths, they do have some pretty good athletes but I feel like they were a little more athletic last year. The biggest issue for Odessa is they haven't played a team with a bunch of speed and athleticism. I think these teams would exploit Odessa's biggest weekness, which is playing in space.

I've seen Raytown play and Odessa would have a very hard time containing their speed and athletes. So I don't think they beat them. Smithville I haven't seen so I can't say.

I heard good things about Mt. Vernon, but their district is tough though

Mt. Vernon is very well coached. Monett should be able to emerge from that district, based on athleticism. District will be competitive, but IMO there isn't a really good team in that mix.

Smithville goes as the Miller twins go. The RB is a tremendous athlete BUT the passing game is not what it was a year ago for sure. Their D has been the big surprise..........

Watched Seneca play Monett, Cassville, and MV this year and Monett was the most physical game by far. Tough district, top 4 seeds all have a shot.

You guys underestimate the Cassville Wildcats, and I'm not even from Cassville, but I've watched the juniors and seniors play since mighty mites against my team. They are a very talented group and now I think is the time where they will step up and start proving a lot of people wrong.

That's why I said Mt. Vernon may not make it out of districts.

They need to step up a bunch. They have been playing pretty sloppy Football. But definitely agree great team when they are playing.
