Who looks like they will be good in SWMO? I agree with that Maryville should be number 1. They are returning a lot of good players including QB Oglesby. They are going to have a great year. Probably are the favorites to win Class 3 right now.

Dont know a lot about them so I could be way off base.. but I would say maybe drop Orchard Farm out for Monett.

Things I do know, Lutheran South is going to be a handful this year and St. Charles West runs the wishbone to perfection. They'll do big things in Class 3.

Love seeing triple option out of wishbone and flexbone... when done well, hard to stop. As far as seeing how they will do ,,, time will tell, season will before long

St. Charles West was a game away from the Dome 2 years ago and gave Cape Central a tough game. They've been very competitive in Class 4, have a hard time believing they won't have success in Class 3.

NWMO no question the Spoofhounds should be strong contenders. Keep an eye, though, on Center. This may be their best squad in many, many years.

In looking at their starting line up from Maryville at Chillicothe last fall, the Spoofhounds return on offense LG, C, RT, QB, FB and on defense DE, LB, CB, CB.

This is the year this prediction comes true. St Pius X will finally make some noise. The youngsters have grown up
OK OK I know I've made this same prediction for five or six years, at least I am consistent

I once heard from a coach that at St. Puis X (the one in KC), that they cannot meet for an official summer practices or camps. The kids can be proactive an organize stuff but no coaches or anything. Is this true? If so, why?

Odessa graduated some key players, but has some nice talent still on the roster. I know this incoming freshman class has some great athletes. With Center being in Odessas district now, things will be interesting.
Hogan Prep has a real good shot, too. Thing with them, though, is the SCHEDULE which won't prep them for what awaits in the best district class-for-class in MO this fall.
