One of the most interesting districts in the state with Cassville revisiting Monett trying to avenge their 21-20 heartbreaking loss. Also, Reeds Spring going in as the 1 seed trying to hold off a hot Tom Cox coached Mt. Vernon team that played Cassville tough two weeks ago and should of beat them. I was wondering what everybody's thoughts were this week. I think Mt. Vernon is the hottest/scariest team in this district. Monett/Cassville the obvious favorites.

Maybe Three Cents will make an appearance and let us know his stance on this week's match ups.

Thinking you are probably right. Springfield Catholic beat Reeds Spring and then got absolutely dominated and run off their home field by Eldon, a 6 seed, who finished fourth in conference play.

Monett will not physical match up against Cassville, Cassville owned the line of scrimmage last game and will do it again. I don't think we will fade in the 4th like we did last time and we will be expecting the pass.

I agree that Mt Vernon is perhaps as hot as anyone. One thing you failed to mention in your lead is that Mt Vernon will be trying to avenge their loss from earlier this year. Reeds Spring beat them head to head to start the season.
