So far this year I would say District 8 ought to be near the top. With 4 teams ranked in the top 10 it's wide open

Anyone want to venture a swag on the seeding of that district based upon schedules and records to date?

It will depend on the New Bloomfield vs Eugene game. Here is what I think.
1. Fayette
2. Harrisburg
3. New Bloomfield
4. Eugene (bad loss to Linn that hurts them)
5. Linn
6. New Franklin
7. Calvary
8. Russellville
Just me guessing

IF NB gets past Eugene (tall order with game at Eugene), wouldn't Linn be seeded ahead of Eugene?

Depends on how other coaches looked at it. Technically yes. Then if Eugene wins, they could get the seed above New Bloomfield. Comes down to buddy system. Should be like football and if you beat the team 1 seed above you, you can bump them.

Unless Eugene losses their remaining games no way Linn should be seeded above them. Even though Linn beat them. If Eugene beats New Bloomfield I think that Eugene gets the 3 seed.

I think there are at least 3 really strong quarterfinals in the state...

1st quarter:
Bernie
Oran
Hartville
Thayer--- really strong and a total crapshoot in my opinion

2nd quarter:
the crazy district with all the ranked teams
Fayette
Harrisburg
Salisbury
Eugene
Milan

3rd quarter:
know very little about this quarter, no ranked teams

4th quarter:
Mid Buchanan
Wellington Napoleon
Sacred Heart Sedalia

I think this will be a great playoff trail. No idea who will win.

Having seen all these teams play @ least once here is my ranking of them not necessarily seeding but talent, experience, coaching etc.
1) Eugene
2) New Bloomfield
3) Harrisburg
4) Fayette
5) Linn
6) New Franklin
7) Calvary
8) Russellville

Loaded district that will be fun to see how it plays out.

I don't think New Franklin is in the district, the 8th team is Sturgeon who beat New Bloomfield earlier this week.

You are correct it is Sturgeon who would have probably been a 6 seed. Seed meeting should take about 5 years off most of those coaches life expectancy lol!
