In District 15 I’d go with Santa Fe
I’ve heard the same. I’m looking forward to the matchup between them and Mid Buchanan again. Hopefully I’ll be broadcasting that game in Sectionals at Staley HSI heard that Santa Fe is good.
They didn't play each other this season and Neelyville's losses were to some very good bigger schools, plus they beat some pretty good bigger schools, including Dexter and Saxony.I haven't seen Neelyville or Thayer play this year, but I do find it curious that Thayer is 20-0 and was #1 (now #2) in the state and still isn't the 1 in their district... I bet that seed meeting was a little more interesting than most.
I'll bet Thayer thought so too. Barring a big upset they'll get to settle it in districts at Van Buren, who by they way is the possible upset team in that district if they're healthy and shoot the ball well.I didn't go back and look at either schedules and I never said that they were wrong. I would just find it hard to do that in a district seeding if they were ranked #1 in the state. Gives some merit to strength of schedule meaning something when it comes to February and March. I just thought it was pretty interesting.
You'd be in a big crowd that feels the same. Even at home VB would have to have a near perfect game on offense and defense to beat either of the top two. I haven't heard if their starter that injured her ankle in a game at 3R last weekend is well yet, or if she will be soon.Just an fyi the van buran team is not bad but I see it being a clean cut final with neelyville topping Thayer and moving on to the sectional round
