Class 2 final-four... Not one of the top-10 made it...

Oran-21-8
Scared Heart-25-5
Harrisburg-22-8
Crane-19-10

I watched 2 very good teams do battle til the last tick of the clock today at MACC.
I hated to see this one come to an end... Harrisburg 58, Clopton 57...
*Harrisburg runs an inbound coast to coast play that works to perfection...!
Cloptons whole team could make a good living as skilled pick-pockets, they are quick..!

Congrats, cya in CoMoTown... Enjoy the experience...:p,

I don't think the polls were off. I just think that there were 4 teams that got hot and all four pulled off upsets in the QF.

I have a cousin (girl) that is a senior at Clopton. Was hoping they would make it.

Clopton girls had a very good team and most likely one of the top 6 teams in their class, but district included another very good team, that being Scotland County from way up near Minnesota and of course they are in the final four... Skyline vs Scotland Co should be a good one...
And yes we'll be at all possible 1-2-3 & 4-5 final four games and hosting that class 2 team from up near Minnesota this weekend... Cya there......... ... .. .O o-

I think they were off a bit but they usually are. The polls are largely record based instead of strength of play. Once you're in the top 10, it's hard to drop out.

1 Hartville 20-5
2 Thayer 21-3
3 Wellington-Napoleon 23-1
4 Salisbury 21-3
5 Lincoln 21-1
6 Knox County 19-4
7 Marionville 20-3
8 Stanberry 19-4
9 Ellington 18-5
10 Eugene 17-6

No argument with top 3. Shame that Thayer and Hartville played each other so early. Lincoln was overrated all year in that they had no interior. They lost to Sacred Heart at home by 11 when SH was at full strength and actually went up in the standings after the loss.

Salisbury was good but not top 5. Not enough help for Francis.

Harrisburg should have always been top 10. Sacred Heart as well. Their only two losses in Class 2 were without a senior guard.

Well Nap was really good. Great shooters. Great team speed.

Strength of schedule is really poor in the bottom half of that top 10.

After seeing them play in sectionals, I was surprised Wellington lost. I don't at all consider the other 3 upsets. The polls just don't mean much, like usual.
