I know THE match-up will be the South semi-final, but District 6 will be fun. I can see a Clark County/Palmyra final and that would be a good one. Clark County has really turned it on as of late.

I wonder what a 3 week lay-off will do to Lutheran North and Trinity. There's a tipping point somewhere between rest and rust and I'm fairly sure it's less than 3 weeks.

I'd say it's beneficial for rest at this point in the season, besides.. they will each have a tune-up game to knock the rust off before playing one another then focus turns to Lamar for whomever comes out on top.

Lutheran North had a forfeit win 3 weeks ago. They played Mater Dei (IL) and Normandy the last 2 weeks and rest this Friday with a 1st round BYE. Trinity had a forfeit win last week and has a BYE in the 1st round, so they'll be having their first game in 3 weeks when they (probably) host Cardinal Ritter on 10/27.
