Stanberry's height is tough for most class 1 teams to match up with. They also have a lot of experience in big games and seem very focused right now.

In another thread I mentioned the ultra-rarity of the FB-BB double: Stanberry may well be in line to do it in 2015-16!

Gideon is not flashy but they are fundamentally sound. Have a post player that averages 20 a game but didnt even get half of that in the quarterfinal. Their point guard runs the offense and scores 15 on the norm. Again did not have a huge game against School of the Ozarks. I say that to say this. They can get points from other places if needed. Very scrappy. Hit the offensive boards well. Seem to be a close nit unit and get a lot of community support.

Thanks for the update...any really big kids? What style of play?

Not really. Post guy goes around 6-4 or 6-5 but moves well. They get up and down the floor well but not really a fast break style.. they will look to attack if its there but are fine running the half court set. They work to get the ball inside but have a few kids that can hit the three.

If stanberry doesnt play better in the championship game than they did tonight, WG will smoke them.

I was not impressed with WG there pressure was not that great. If Stanberry plays good defense & hits there paint shots they win by at least 10.

They need to rebound better. For their size, i was surprised how many 2nd and 3rd chances Glasgow got under the basket.
I personally thought Gideon had the better team on the floor.....but they lost.

So, it is WG vs Stanberry.

Still think Stanberry better step it up a notch or WG will roll.
