Class 1 Sectional Playoffs
Gideon(20-6) vs. Advance(16-9)
South Iron(23-3) vs. School of the Osage(19-7)
Tuscumbia(19-8) vs. Glasgow(23-5)
Community(23-4) vs Meadville(28-0)
Walnut Grove(23-5) vs. Mack's Creek (19-7)
Drexel(14-13) vs. Leeton(26-2)
Braymer(24-4) vs. Winston(26-2)
Stanberry(26-2) vs. North Andrew(21-6)

Anyone have any thoughts on these Class 1 games?

A year ago, in the quarter finals, Meadville and Community met up at Kirksville in what proved to be a defensive battle.
A pair of free throws at the end of the fourth gave Meadville the two point win, 34-32.

I expect the same, defensive battle, again tonight.

Good luck to all teams this evening.

Not nitpicking, just want to make sure credit is given. School of the Ozarks (not School of the Osage) will play South Iron. For the Patriots it's their first ever district title in just their 3rd year of play. School of the Ozarks is a laboratory school of College of the Ozarks in Point Lookout.

Got some great matchups. I've got Gideon, South Iron, Glasgow, Meadville, Walnut Grove, Leeton, Braymer, and Stanberry all winning. The best game of all of them in my opinion is Braymer vs. Winston. Both of those 2 teams are great teams. Battle of small vs. big.

Braymer - Winston should be interesting. Braymer is big and Winston is quick. Both have a slashing guard that is their best player.

its actually only their SECOND year being a full time MSHSAA program.. They had to travel all the way to South Iron's district last year because they came in mid-term. Congrats to the Patriots on a great year.
