This is what I don't like about doing state rankings using Maxpreps because not many coaches actually use Maxpreps (or at least not many in my area do). Advance's record is nowhere near correct (they're actually 25-6-1) nor is Bernie's (they're 16-14-2). Probably should just do away with rankings, in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, I think Maxpreps is a wonderful resource for sports fans, but not all coaches are going to take the time to add their schedules and rosters let alone update scores after each game consistently. You can always tell when it's being used to its full extent when you see that a coach has entered stats, but yeah, not a fan of this. Thanks for posting, though.

On another note, I wish MSHSAA would allow the actual scores to be posted on each team's MSHSAA schedule page. I hate seeing 2-0 and 2-1 or 1-2 or 0-2. Or maybe just link them to where it'll take you to another page that actually displays the real score like 25-17, 25-13 etc.

Well, it is going to be a fantastic State Tournament this year for Class 1 volleyball. 3 out of the 4 teams are repeats from last year with the addition of Winona. Congratulations to all 4 for making it to the Cape. Northland Christian held serve against two tough opponents in Midway and Santa Fe. It was tough but once the girls got in a rhythm they looked good. Northland should have 4 1st team All State players with a possible 5th on Second team. This is a very well rounded team and is going to be tough to keep them from going back to back. I am sure Valle is looking forward to the re match and will be wanting to knock them off the top of the hill. See everyone this Friday.

I thumped SF and was surprised by how bad the scores were. I know Northland has a heck of a team returning from last year. Never count out New Haven. They have a very solid team. One middle can flat out pound the ball. At state it's anyone's game. Winona made it again after fighting all year injuries and I heard kids leaving the team. The coach always finds a way to do it come post season.

SF is a good program, they have one super star and she did everything she could to keep them in the match. Northland is a very well rounded team. They have 4 1st team All State candidates. Last year nobody know who we were and probably under estimated us. This year everyone is gunning for Northland. I would put #18 up against middle in any Class in the state of Missouri. She will hold her own...and yes she can hammer the ball. Northland is not overlooking anybody, they know they can be beat on any given day. Just know that this group of girls have been playing together since the 4th grade. Am looking forward to Friday to see how it all plays out....Good luck to all the teams that made it in all Classes....If you are going to be there would love to meet you.
