Excited for both sides of District 4’s semis. Windsor vs Adrian HAS to be class 1 game of the week. I think Lincoln (my alma mater) will be a tough out vs Skyline as well. Any other games worth discussing?

I think Skyline will roll over Lincoln. You are right though, the next 2 weeks in District 4 has to be games of the week.

After the way Skyline played Fair Grove and Warsaw, I'd be surprised if this is much closer than a two touchdown game. Adrian and Windsor will be a heck of a game though for sure. Definitely Windsor's biggest test so far this season. Im also looking forward to the East Buch vs. Mid Buch game.

I had to choose which game to go to, stay home for Windsor or go to Buchanan game. I chose to support my son and will make the long trip to Faucett. I was at the Skyline and Warsaw game, it was a good one.

Scott City vs. St. Vincent in District 1. These two played in week 2 with St. Vincent just edging Scott City 28-26 at Scott City. This game will be at St. Vincent who earned the number 2 seed because of the week 2 win despite being 4-5 and Scott City being 7-2.

I think Lincoln has the potential to surprise some folks. 4 juniors on this year's team started as freshman in the state championship game against Valle a couple years ago. Finally hitting a stride offensively and finally healthy. Could be a high scoring affair. With Windsor's senior class being so loaded... look for Lincoln to potentially run the table next year (losing 1 offensive starter and 2 defensive starters). I think Windsor will handle Adrian, but I agree that it will be their biggest test. Is east buch capable of beating mid buch? Seems like everyone I talk to automatically slots Mid Buch into the final four.

How about St. Pius at Mark Twain…
i think Mark Twain would beat St Pius. Mark Twain did play Bowling Green and lost by 14. it will be a close game. my score prediction will be 38-26 Mark Twain over Pius. Mark Twain held 8 opponents under 14 points in every game this season.

Lincoln was banged up early in the season. Windsor disposed of them fairly easily (as they do with most) but played Butler to within 5 points until the 4th q when the class 2 power put up 3 scores in about 6 minutes. But a 2 week covid break finally got them healthy. QB change after the windsor game and some much needed blocking returning to the fold. I'll take Lincoln in the upset 28-24 over Skyline. I'll take Windsor 32-20 over Adrian.

Can someone shed some light on the Monroe City game? I'd been hearing they were poised for a title run, but have seen some questions on here about Brentwood?

I don't know the particulars of the game earlier in the season but East Buch played them to a one score game, so I would assume they're capable.

EB was up 21-13 in the 4th quarter when MD scored on about a 25 yards run then got the 2 to tie it at 21. On EB's first play they threw a pick 6 to go down 28-21. After the KO they threw another INT but held MD at the 4. They got all the way to around MB's 30 when time ran out

Fair Grove is vastly overrated, but this is a class one team competing with a team the state seems to like, so they deserve some credit for keeping it close.

Adrian vs Windsor will be one heck of a game!

Mid-Buch get slotted into the final 4 b/c they've been there the last 3 yrs. They've handled E. Buch 2x a year for the last 3 except for the reg. season game in 2018. They also beat E. Buch with their starting QB going out for the game in the 1st 1/2 of this years game. Having said all that E. Buch is big and talented and has handled everyone except Mid Buch.

What constitutes a class two (or any class for that matter) as a power? One district championship in 10 years? Beating up on class 1 and the occasional class 2 team so you are undefeated? I am confident that two weeks from now we will know who the "power" is in C2D5.

LAMAR.. that is it

I wouldn’t sleep on Thayer. They might not be very big but they play fast and aggressive.

It won't matter as the winner gets Hayti and will get turbo clocked more than likely in the championship game. But the semi-final game between SC/STV should be a good one.

Lafayette County has a tough schedule and is a great 2A team. Butler has gone 19-1 the last two years, with their only loss to St. Pius X 14-6. Did Lafayette County play Pius last year. Can’t remember.

No, and Lafayette County should win the district, but Butler isn’t bad. Richmond will be exposed regardless the following week.
