Northeast Region:
Novinger is off to a good start winning the Novinger Tourny.
Glasgow is always tough. Already won the Glasgow Tourny over Marceline.

Northwest:
Stanberry has started off the year winning the Albany Tourny.
Winston wins Gallitan Tourny with tough battle over Trenton.

Southeast:
Advance I assume will be tough again. Chime in here SEMO viewers.

Southwest:
Walnut Grove
Leeton
J.I.D.
(Just going off wins so far this year)

I would say that by beating the class 2 state champion Braves, Advance must be pretty salty.

In the NW region....you mentioned Stanberry and Winston...yep, deserving.
OTHERS TO WATCH?
North Andrew beat Jefferson 54-50 in the PVI tournament....both good teams.
Braymer has had 2 injuries that set them back for a while....good young depth coming.
Mercer goes to the NE but plays most of their season playing games in the NW.
Hardin-Central gets a chance to make a statement game when they play Braymer before Christmas break. Waiting to hear a little bit more on Norborne before adding...
Worth County will be in this list soon (if not late this year then next).

I have seen both Leeton and Hardin. Leeton is ranked in the top 10 but I think that is based a lot from last year. They lost a lot from last year and while they are an OK team I don't think they are top 10. I will say they are well coached and he will get to play hard and win a lot of games. I think Hardin is two player team and has a third that isn't bad. But that was just from seeing them once.
