should be a classic, but Mound City made a big time statement against North Andrew...they might be hitting their stride...I think it's taken them a while to figure out just how good they are.

Always tell players you don't have to know a lot of math to play basketball but you have to at least be able to count to 5. Tonight a ref counted to 4 and whistled South Iron for a 5 second closely guarded call with a few seconds left. Huge call, and a very bad one for 3 reasons. It was only a 4 count, it wasn't closely guarded, and SI's best player was driving past the defender for a layup.

Wow! That would be hard to take in a lose and go home situation like that.

There were other plays SI could have made of course. Game of inches and split seconds.

It was a good game and Risco made the plays to pull it out just as they did in their win over Scott County. From what I hear Dora will likely end their run but it has been a good one for those kids to get to Dora at all.
