The CJ 7th grade won Tuesday 22-0 or something. The current 8th grade CJ beat Webb last year but it was close.Webb up on thier 8th 6-2. Webbs 8th pretty salty. Think the 7th lost to cj though. It was 12-0 at half.
Nah. We havent recruited enough at that age to make it a viable resource. Can we get updates on flag football scores too?
Was it the QB playing with an artificial leg?
I've heard from a few parents that cj (in more than one grade level) was playing rather dirty (I don't see how kids that young can be playing "dirty") and the refs were having issue with it and maybe that's where that reaction came from. Not saying that reaction is justified at all...but that's just the only attempt at an explanation that I've heard.
I agree. That's assault. End of story.
It's a 10 year old for heavens sake.

Didn't realize the parent of the player that got shoved was a teacher at CJ.When i played in 3rd grade, our southwest league had galena in it along with 6 other schools. The coaches were teaching the players to create a dog pile every play and throw punches under it at the other team. They were kicked out of the league the next year because of it. If they play dirty that young.....its always parents and coaches.
Goodness...I'm the first one to reign in my own kids. First one to call them on being turds. But mercy, I might be looking for a new career if I ever watched an official shove one of my own, no matter how big of a turd he or she was being.Didn't realize the parent of the player that got shoved was a teacher at CJ.
No wonder he didn't come out of the stands and fix it right there.
No he is a 6th grader. Was it the QB playing with an artificial leg?
Yeah. At the time I wasn't sure who this was.No he is a 6th grader.
"Playing dirty" just usually means they have learned how to make legal hits.I've heard from a few parents that cj (in more than one grade level) was playing rather dirty (I don't see how kids that young can be playing "dirty") and the refs were having issue with it and maybe that's where that reaction came from. Well right now is probably the first time in several years that all of the youth teams are pretty good."Playing dirty" just usually means they have learned how to make legal hits.
Bad part is the ref was walking away and the young man had to go up to him to explain. There is hope for the youth of tomoroow.I agree.
