Three times CJ had the ball deep in the red zone on 4th down and each time decided to kick a field goal, came away with 6 points

WC has the ball 4th and long at midfield and tosses a deep one for a first down.

Quite a difference in play calling

I think CJ goes for iron fourth they probably score a couple of TD's. Don't think you are going to beat Webb kicking field goals

Coaching choices for different reasons- For CJ, putting pts on the board to keep momentum. For WC, trying to turn the momentum their way. Cj probably didn't want to risk being held on forth and pumping up Webbs-D any more than they had to. But once Webb blocked the 3rd fg attempt the tide changed.

Ehhh went webb went for it on 4th down from the 50 it was 4th and about half a yard. The play call was gutsy but it certainly wasn't 4th and 10

I thought CJ coaches got very conservative after they would get near the 20. Hard to believe this was the same coach who called the hitch-and-pitch at Lamar a couple of years ago. JROD definitely out coached Buck by miles.

I don't believe either side really out coached the other. Truly think it came down to execution on the field, WC took away the run game, CJ receivers dropped open passes. CJ's defense got gassed with offense unable to stay on the field in the second half (Drops). CJ offense became mentally defeated early in the 3rd. In my mind, the biggest difference in the game was CJ's dropped passes.

3 things can happen when you throw the ball, and 2 of them are bad.

When cj got the ball after webb scored early in 2nd half, Buckmaster got very upset and had to call a timeout...i believe to stop the clock. Anyway, he was clearly yelling at the other CJ coaches and they were also yelling at each other. I knew at that point, it was Webbs to lose.

Yea he was not a happy camper

I saw Buck yelling at his coaches, them yelling back and turned to the person standing next me and said - it's over!

Dropped passes or high thrown balls, I saw much more of these. Outcoached, second half says so, improvements over the season says so, career says so. Everyone knows JROD Smitty and the crew are considered some of the best in the state if not the best. They do more with less than any team I have ever seen or heard of consistently. No other sport on earth does the coaching count more than in Football. Sure having the bulls helps but the best players with a bad game plan or scheme lose. Great coaches can scheme with good players that have discipline and believe in the message and overcome. WEBB kids believe in their coaches and the schemes they come up with. Considering JROD and his Cards have made 12 trips to the State Championship game with 10 Trophys in the past 19 years and in his 20th season has a win loss record of 253-26 (93%) highest percentage ever in the state of Missouri I dont think there is much convo here............
