Championship Bucket List

While talking to an old friend last night I just realized that 80% of my championship bucket list has been filled in the last 5 years.

Lamar Tiger State Championship
Royals World Series
Chiefs Super Bowl
Blues Stanley Cup

I fear the last 20% will never be filled. Mizzou National Championship.

I know, I cant stand the Cardinal or Rams. I got into Hockey watching the Blades play back in the day. The Blues were about the only other option when they left. I've tried watching the various hockey teams that have come through KC sense and haven't been able to get into them. I am thinking about making the trip to see an XFL game. I am not sure what this NBA thing is you speak of?

STL fans are spoiled. I was rooting on Randle and the boys when my friends started rooting for the Rams in a Super Bowl after their long time loyalty of 1 season...

Blues, Cards, Chiefs, Webb have all been checked off the list so the only thing left would be Mizzou football and basketball. But I ain’t holdin’ my breathe.

Sporting KC: check
Mizzou football or basketball: oh boy
Northwest Missouri state football and basketball: check and only getting better every year. Have a shot to win back to back NC’s and 3 of 4 NC’s

Did not expect to see a soccer team appear on a list. Went to one Wizard game how ever long ago that was. I got up and explored Arrowhead about 30-45 min into the game. Turns out if you found your way to the upper deck during a soccer game, security starts asking questions.

Since the brand change they are much different and a lot more fun to watch. I really enjoy watching them. Try to watch them every night they are on

Yeah I've enjoyed several as well recently that were already mentioned.

Carthage and Webb City both winning a state championship in the same year was pretty fun for me having ties to both towns.

Carthage just winning a state championship at all was pretty good just on it's own.

Other things I'd like to see that probably won't...

Mizzou football national champ
Mo State MBB in the final 4.

Then again I never thought I'd see the chiefs win a Super Bowl or even play in a super bowl.

These wins have all come in my lifetime. If noone else wins a Ship, I'll die happy knowing I've seen 3 Cards WS titles, the Blues win the Cup and the Rams win the Lombardi with an unbelievably exciting team for St. Louis' first and only Super Bowl win.
