ND is number 5. Come on man.
Alabama number 4. Old money,
TV still runs college football.

One loss Florida spanked Ole Miss.
Ole Miss spanked one loss Bama.
Yet, it's Bama #4 and Florida #10.

No BXII team yet either. It will play out.

It will but it is an indicator of their thinking.
Baylor has destroyed everyone. They should be in top 4. Big 12 is going to be interesting for the next month. Go LSU!!

Baylor has beat 1 team with a winning record! It will play itself out and it begins this weekend!

Baylor should be in period ! It will play it's self out but it's still rediculous . So Bama big win I guess is Georgia. It's not Tennessee Martin or Arkansas

I don't get worked up about the rankings too much early because this time last year I believe Auburn and Mississippi were in the playoff rankings and they didn't come close and Ohio st was 14th.

I have no problem where Baylor is at the moment. The Big 12 schedule is all back loaded. If they win out they will be in the top 4. If the Big 10, SEC,Big 12 and ACC champs are all undefeated they will be the 4 teams. The question is once you get to only 1-2 undefeated teams where do you rank the 1-loss teams? Or do you you put in an undefeated Memphis over a 1-loss power 5 school? Does the winner of ND-Stanford get in as the top 1 loss team if Bama loses or over LSU if they lose to Bama.

I definitely don't think Oklahoma will run the table but if they somehow did beating Baylor, TCU and Okla St in consecutive weeks I bet they get in the playoff . Let's just say I'm a lot more worried about them winning out than I am about them winning out and being left out.

I agree. If OU can win out (that is a huge if at this point) I think they benefit hugely from having beaten 3 Top 15 teams in consecutive weeks. I could realistically see OU beating 2 of the 3 but I think they'll drop at least one.

Oklahoma wins out, they're in. Then the 4 would be: Oklahoma, Clemson (if undefeated), Big 10 winner (Ohio St) and the winner of LSU/Bama!
IMO, PAC 12 has tiny shot. They get in if Stanford beats ND and Clemson loses and Big10 doesn't have undefeated team.
