I would say Monroe City is a notch below last year, but I'm not there. Week 4 will give us a much better idea where both they and visiting Macon stand.

Cards I would say their defense is a notch better and offense is not quite as good for now. Brookfield held them 150 yards. But I think the muddy field didn't help took some speed away. Osborne only had 25 yards. And I think class 2 district 8 is by far the toughest district. Macon, Brookfield, Lathrop, Lawson, Lexington.

Blair Oaks vs Lamar is a very possible matchup.

Blair Oaks, Lamar and Lutheran North are a level better than everyone else right now.

Todd Dunn is their coach, Macon's field is called Hugh Dunn field. A lot of ties there. And they are pretty good.
