Cassville seems to be peaking about the right time. Running game has come along way, and the defense is solid.

I have seen some film on Odessa and they look really good, but really don't know much about them? Anybody enlighten us?

Everyone has doubted the wildcats since the Monett game, Do not sleep on them.

Oh bother here we go...I don't think "everyone" has doubted them, trust me nobody associated with Monett was ever over looking the Wildcats. Again they handed Monett their only conference loss in the regular season. Also cAssville was ranked at times during the season along with Seneca and Mt Vernon, Monett never got ranked. So yeah plenty of people thought Cassville was pretty good and better than Monett all year.

The little bit I've watched on Odessa, offensively they look solid upfront, and the backs run downhill hard. They remind me of Seneca somewhat. They seem to fly around to the ball on defense. Solid group. Probably a coin flip prediction at this point IMO.

Everyone has doubted the wildcats since the Monett game, Do not sleep on them.

Bosko is from Ampipe and their mascot is also the Bulldogs. Back in 1983, the Ampipe - Walnut Heights game, a HUGE rivalry game, was documented on film. During the game, it started raining and that caused a fumble at the very end of the game. This ultimately cost Ampipe the game. Granted, they wouldnt have been on the goal line if there had not been a costly PI penalty but that's another arguement. So that is what Bosko was meaning

Hey, I admitted it on here once before and I will again. After watching Lamar beat Cassville several weeks ago, and Lamar is not the Lamar of a few years ago, I was underwhelmed and have underestimated them since. They obviously corrected the ship.

Lamar finished strong improving each week. Cassville was the last reg season game, and it was a battle that could've gone either way. I think that game probably made Cassville do a little soul searching and gave them motivation to keep working. I think we could also see a much underestimated Ava team, that eliminated Lamar, give the Stl super team all they want and possibly come out on top this weekend. It is so hard to really know where teams are this time of year. Makes it really fun to talk about.

Helluva game. Two great teams. Nothing else to say. Just watch the game. Cassville with a much harder schedule this year...more tested.
