I expect Carthage to be down a bit next year losing a bunch of guys on the line but the current freshman class went undefeated so who knows

I think Carthage is going to be good for the foreseeable future. Down a little from this year? Probably.

May be a good thing for CJ. If Webb and Carthage both move to 5A it will probably give CJ a winnable 4A district in the future

I was referring to the years when CJ was ranked second in the state and couldn't get out of their district but yes I will cry tears of joy when Webb goes to class 5.

I predict some CJ/West Plains games for the district title in the years to come.

It may be a few years as CJ has a few weak classes in high school right now. Also I have seen that class 4 may have 7 team districts and Monett will probably move back to class 4 so maybe West Plains will stay out east.
