Going down to class one has seemed to be just what the doctor ordered....not sure they will wind up in the top ten at the end of the season but for now Trojan land should be pretty excited especially with a win over Westran. I still think they will finish dead last in the MRVCE though.

Disagree..............I would put them mid-pack as of today. Richmond, Knob and Holden are all going to be good games unless the Trojans get hit by the injury bug.
I think where they finish will have a lot to do with how many games they win.

The defense have played really well for the Trojans but the test will come next week as they go to Knob Noster. But it is not like the Panthers have had a hard road as well. Versailles 0-3, Warsaw 1-2, Crest Ridge 2-1 and now Tipton 1-2. A lot rides on the QB Jr. Gavin Claud 487 yards 6 TD in his first 3 games. He has a cannon for sure and you know that if you seen him play baseball. I think he was 2nd team all state in baseball last year as a So. I will say the middle of the pack in the MRVC but falling to Class one is where it will help for a program to compete that has not had a winning season since 2009. In fact I was just looking from 2011-2018 the Trojans are 18-64 But this year they take big steps with the 9 Jr and So. that are playing. They also have a lot of talent coming up. I seen where the 7th and 8th grade beat Marshall and the 5th and 6th beat Chillicothe. So maybe this year is the year they turn the program around.
The same was probably thought last year going into the Knob Noster game and Carrollton lost 42-0.
Not saying Knob is going to win, just saying that Carollton’s resume thus far isn’t exactly impressive either.
Win over Fayette(1-2), who’s only win is against winless Schuyler County.
Win over Westran(1-2) who’s only win is against winless Salisbury
Win over St Paul Lutheran(0-3) who’s been outscored by an average of 47-6 by their opponents.

I have seen over a dozen of teams of film this year but seeing Knob in person they are a great football team. Starts up front with big tackles. They have a great running game. They hit you inside with the big guy and outside with that speed. The other factor is they can toss the ball in the air. The defense puts a lot of pressure on the offense. Only thing I could pick out is they need to clean the yellow laundry up. Big game this week against Lexington this Friday. Knob 41 Lexington 14.

I think it's awesome that Knob is as good as they are but I would tend to agree that, until proven otherwise, Lexington should have the upper hand
I really like what Knob is doing. With the airforce base there, it's hard to establish a real program. Kids only staying a few years then moving. Fun fact, Odessa played Knob Noster in the 94 Class 3 state championship.
