Now they go to unbeaten Center. Very, very curious matchup there. This game shows why strength of schedule should count for more in the points system. This game wasn't really competitive.
As do I but they are a bit of an unknown. Have played no C4 contenders and their conference is either small C4 or C3 something they cannot help. The Yellowjackets, frankly, need to return to the Suburban Blue next year.I have Center in the Quarters this year imo.
Kearney/Smithville definitely have a gauntlet in the playoffs. If either make it to the title game, they will be heavy favorites after the stretch it’s going to take for them to get there.
The quarterfinal opponent likely will benefit if a bit from what will be the biggest physical war in this area when Kearney and Smithville hook up again.I have Center in the Quarters this year imo.

I’m guessing Buck will have some surprises cooked up.Center, undefeated, but played what appears to have been an easy schedule. However, they dominated all of those opponents on the scoreboard.
Carl Junction, 4-6, but played a brutal schedule until last night where they met their first non Class 5 or 6 opponent of the year. However, in each of their losses they got beat by three scores or more.
If Center has explosiveness on offense (do they, I don’t know anything about them?), they’ll win. But otherwise if CJ wins the turnover battle, then this could be a toss-up.
I think they have a really good RB. I would be surprised with a CJ win. Center does play an absurd schedule but they have a lot of offense.Center, undefeated, but played what appears to have been an easy schedule. However, they dominated all of those opponents on the scoreboard.

Center has breakaway offensive talent. Jacorey Love the JR RB is a superstar perhaps the best back in C4 this year. I like them BUT they haven't seen anyone like CJ who likely will really test their lines.Center, undefeated, but played what appears to have been an easy schedule. Correct it is not all Love the JR RB. The QB has a very good, accurate arm and they can move the ball through the air as well. Definitely an apples vs. oranges game. No real read how this will turn out frankly.I think they have a really good RB. I would be surprised with a CJ win. Center does play an absurd schedule but they have a lot of offense.
Lincoln Prep is a pretty good measure down from the prior two years but still winning the games on the slate.Let’s keep in mind that center is a Class 3 school 90% of the time.
hence why their schedule is majority Class 3
they’ve beat Class 4 Lincoln Prep(9-1): 42-7
They’ve beat Class 3 Pleasant Hill(8-1) 53-27
that may not be the gauntlet that every one else brags about but those are 2 quality wins.
it’s not their fault they’re in a conference of schools that are their size other than when they get bumped up every once in a blue moon.
The MRVC West is normally a pretty salty conference. Harrisonville, Odessa and Oak Grove are just down.Let’s keep in mind that center is a Class 3 school 90% of the time.

And they will not stay down. The MRVC West is normally a pretty salty conference. Harrisonville, Odessa and Oak Grove are just down.
