Has anybody notices the little bears I mean cubs are going to give us
fits in the future. They are younger, more talented and better managed
than the cards. We got to get someone for Holiday getting to old , Jay
must go, first base huge problem. Hope Heywood comes back. Martinez
super talent must mature, Lynn must go surely we can find a better back
up then cruz at catcher. Hope this doesn't become the Blues great regular
season early playoff exit. Cubs as sad as I am to say it has built a strong team
that is around to stay challenge now is for the Cards to get better.

I have read somewhere that the Cubs are about to come into some serious LA/Philly sized TV money. They will add pitching for next season to go with the young sluggers.

They will also have to spend a lot to keep their core together over time. It will be interesting to see how they manage it all.

Lynn isn't going anywhere, he's under contract at a reasonable rate, and the Cards aren't likely to give that up

I have a feeling Heyward is back and that this next year is the last year of Holliday and Jay.

Not sure what we are going to do at 1B with Adams/Moss/whatever OF is the spare part from Grichuk/Piscotty/Holliday/Heyward, but I'd be a little surprised if we sign a big FA at that position for that reason. I could see the FA signing coming after 2016.

Lackey's spot is a wildcard - is he gone? Do they pick up Jaime's $11 M option (clear yes based on 2015 performance but they may want that headache gone)

#4 hitter has to be top priority no matter where you have to play that piece in the field. I can't take another season of
Adams, Honny, and Heyward batting 4th or even 5th
