Like when they used "Celebrate" Or "The Heat is on". to re-energize and be a champion again.

I propose a Tom Petty song: "Free Fallin".

It's ok Duck the Pirates lost to the Brewers again so the lead is still 4 1/2.

That's like the 4th time in the past two weeks
where the most positive thing you can say is the Pirates lost. I may be fat and bald but I have a decent mustache.

What's worst is I stopped watching the Cards in the 2nd inning because you new the game was over and started watching the Pirates game. 1st inning Lamb walks the 1st 2 batters and the Honny strikes out on a ball out of the zone. Heyward strikes out on a ball in the dirt and Molina hits a pop up end of inning and game. To think we could of had N Cruz at a reasonable contract but he didn't have a good WAR. All he has is 40+ homers and 100+RBIs the last 2 years. I've been bitter about this since the day he signed with the Mariners.

This one is so good, I'm not sure why you'd need another. Just recycle it every year.

On a serious note...Can I start worrying yet? Five of seven games the Birds aren't competitive in. Couldn't score with a fistful of ones on dollar night. Pitchers are throwing BP. I'm a tad nervous. And please don't tell me how the Pirates lost again or whatever. Big picture. Worried this is a trend, which is obviously not cool. If it's an anomaly, I can live with it.

I'm more concerned with the pitching than the offense at this point. Hopefully it's just a couple bad cycles through while trying to rest guys. Let's get back to the normal schedule and see what happens. If the pitching doesn't get competitive again it won't matter what the offense does.
