in the rotation. It seems Mikolas is still having an issue with his Flexor Tendon and has been put a no throwing program 'for now' they say.

How does this seem to happen every year. Spring training opens up and we have a pitcher shut down before they’ve even had their team meeting.

Pitchers are like porcelain dolls. Over priced and they break easy. That’s why when you have a chance to snatch up one who has proven to have extraordinary durability you grab Max Scherzer and you don’t let him go. And you keep Lance Lynn.

He had a PCP injection, I think that's what it's called, and now might have another one. Who knows when that might happen, you can't have those things every week or two.

Lynn missed an entire season on the Cardinals when he had Tommy John surgery. It can happen to anyone.

He made the leap. Always competed well for the Birds. Personally, I was happy to see that given he didn't really get a great contract when he left
Now Goldy has a sore arm too. He will be a DH only for now, "as a precaution they say.

Carp was supposed to start at 3rd base and hit 2nd today but during workouts he had some 'minor back stiffness' so in 'an abundance of caution' he did not play. We'll see where that goes.

Not exactly ST until until Marp has to sit out due to "back stiffness". Can they just put him and Fowler on the same island they've put Cecil and be done with them??? I hope I'm wrong, but I can't imagine either one being productive this season.

I've only watched a bit of one spring training game, ground ball to Carp at third. He rainbowed that thing over to first, looked like a long toss throw.
