Now we'll see if they can hold it for the month that really counts after the Brewers held it for the first 132 games. The lead may change hands many times this month before somebody grabs it at the right time. Heck it could change a few more times this week!

The huge cardinal fan dropped in to honor us 3R. Doesn't pay attention for weeks, hears they are in first, then suddenly is a fan.
3R and VB are great Cardinal fans. They live and die with the team every day. They pay attention to details. Those two are awesome.

Thanks Duck. Drop is always welcome. We need for Waino to find his shut down stuff starting tomorrow! Basically playoff baseball from now right through the world series. Have to win at least 4 out of 7 the rest of the way and it could take more than that.

Kozma is being used as he needs to now. he can play defense and run. When he was the starter he was the best option they had to put on the field at SS.

Sadly, that is a true statement...I'm okay with him in EXTREMELY small doses. Like PR and defensive replacement. But if I see him and Dirty D in the same freaking lineup again this season...my head is probably going to explode. The fact the Birds won yesterday with the JV out there is a huge bonus.
