Can Farmington pull it off tonight?

If I recall it was good game last year for a half. Also I don't think Lutheran North would soundly beat Jackson. In fact would not surprise me if LN played Jackson and that Jackson would win.

Lutheran Scored on like the first 3 plays from scrimmage last year that game wasnt actually close. They averaged like 19 yards per play. Tonight wont be remotely close either. its a reason no one is talking about this game.

Farmington’s much improved. Is this year’s LN better? I’d have to guess yes, but I haven’t seen them yet.
Calpreps (for whatever that’s worth, has Farmington playing in the class 4 title game).
I’d imagine L North will win it, but it may be more interesting than you think. A tough contest would be good for both of them.

I assume Farmington is still a flexbone team? If so, that can be a great equalizer.

I know this, if Lutheran North wins, it won't be because they outcoached Farmington.

That one was a better contest than the score would lead you to believe. Neck and neck until fairly late. Farmington missed some opportunities...and Jackson’s a heckuva Class 5 squad.

I have no doubt Lutheran North will be every bit of a challenge for Farmington.
I was just giving the Jackson folks a hard time. Losing to a top team in the class above you in a close game is pretty impressive. I'm rooting for Farmington in this one.

Farmington had Jackson on the ropes for 3 quarters but then they seemed to run out of gas. Jackson has nobody playing both ways, so they just wear down their opponents. The Knights did benefit from a Jackson fumble inside Jackson territory which helped get them a 7-0 halftime lead. It was 14-14 after three quarters, then it was all Jackson.

Lutheran North has Farmington and Chaminade next 2 weeks. They may blow out both.

yep went to the spread during the late stages of the Ritter game and had some success. Then onward made a QB switch and has been running a spread offense.
