why it's a bad thing for Medicare to be able to negotiate for lower drug prices? Why is anyone on either side of the aisle in congress against this?

because I have a feeling drug companies throw a LOT of money to Dems and Pubs on both sides of the aisle. They could care less that drug prices are bleeding people dry

Hopefully voters will let them know how they feel about. This has been going on forever and they need to stand up and do the right thing, if they do the drug companies would have no one to throw their money at.

The average voter is clueless on their congressperson's voting record, so we'll just keep electing these people.

Those in congress have family members or friends on medicare that struggle with high drug prices too, they should not be voting to keep that issue from being corrected. Medicare should be able to use the huge number of people they cover for a pricing advantage.

That don't put money in the politicians pockets. They're bought and paid for.
