The California Lady Pintos kicked off their 2015-16 season with a 54-53 win at Boonville in OT on Monday night.
Boonville led 8-4 after the first quarter, before California outscored the Lady Pirates 20-12 in the 2nd to take a 24-22 lead going into the half. The game was tied at 46 at the end of regulation.
Elizabeth Lutz led the Lady Pintos with 14 points. Mara Caudel added 12 points. Roz Martensen and Cameron Meyer each chipped in with 10 points.
California improves to 1-0 and hosts Tipton on Dec. 7th.
