Gonna be a real battle.

Both teams feature skill and depth at the skill posistions. Pattonville Sr QB Eberle sets the tempo for the Pirates offense while Staley QB Raybourn is the driving force of a highly skilled Falcon attack. The Pirates will have to do a good job of containing Raybourn, limiting his opportunities to freelance as a rusher. That is his forte. Once he puts defenses on their heals, the passing game open up.

Also depends on the weather. Take away today's wind that one is probably 70-0 I kid you not. Staley has done this pretty much to every team they have faced this year.

Take away the wind and Carthage passing game is even better than it was, imo. I was impressed what they were able to do vertically into the wind in the 2nd and early 3rd quarters.

They were all heart no question but Staley is just on a different level this year. Haven't seen a team like this in years here.................BUT the back end of their D is the weak point if they have any.

No question about it. I was very impressed.
I really like what is going on in St. Louis in the largest classes. Outstanding athletes/teams..........the days of KC physically dominating are over. Great contests ensue when we get to this stage.
