Some stiff competition over on this side of the State huh.
Jackson scored on its first play from scrimmage when Farmington, amazingly, completely failed to cover a wide receiver. Nobody within 20 yds of him when he caught the ball. Jackson's next possession only took 3 or 4 plays to score.
Farmington did their best to hold down the scoring by waiting 'til they only had only 1 or 2 seconds left on the play clock... even with a running clock.
Didn’t work out too well in the first game with Jackson. Didn’t go well in the second game either.Farmington has played that real slow pace all season. Old school run the ball, burn the clock, keep your offense off the field.

They should pass more. They have a 6’7” receiver who scored their first TD and their second TD was set up by a pass. Hey! PASS THE BALL! Mix it up a bit.
Cute. You should also tell the line to block and the defense to tackle....Any others I am missing??

Jackson's stats are always virtually 50/50 run/pass. I suggest those teams getting clocked might adapt and adopt Jackson's successful offensive style. It's thrilling for Jackson fans to see this success, but I'd like to see some of the other conference teams get more competitive too. Hey, Coach Eckley has written books on the subject and holds seminars on it.Judging from the past few years, nobody has done anything that has worked real well against Jackson. In their last 37 games they are 35-2 with 28 running clocks. Doesn’t seem very smart to go fast or have the clock stop on incomplete passes against a team that can score like they can.

Agree they are very talented. They have clocked most teams, some of whom have very good coaches. I wouldn’t think they have out coached Kent Gibbs, Cliff Ice,The difference between Jackson and other teams in the district isn't just an offensive system. It's obvious that there is a tremendous talent gap and coaching gap. Jackson just has a lot of very good athletes who rarely miss their assignments.
Farmington was good enough to beat 9 of the 11 teams they faced this year, so it's not an inferior system. They, like Poplar Bluff, Cape Central, Sikeston, etc. just don't have the talent to keep up with Jackson.
