29-13 Rolla. I believe 24 of their 29 pts are from 3Ps in the first half. They’ve made at least 7 so far. That much I know.

Lawson leads WP in scoring with only 7 pts if that tells you how this game has been so far.
Rolla just playing keep away until an open 3P pops up on offense and WP perimeter D has been lacking all year.
Gonna be hard to recover from being down 12 at half when Rolla is shooting the 3P like they are.

53-40 Lady Zizzers win the Class 5 district 6 Championship over Rolla.
WP moves to 22-7 on the year.

Down by 16 at one point in the 2nd quarter and down by 12 at half, WP rallies and outscores Rolla 36-11 in the second half for the 13 pt victory.
Rolla didn’t score a point for about 9 minutes of clock time in the latter 3rd, early 4th quarter.
WP only made two 3Ps the whole game.
They won from hustle, put backs and taking it to the hole.

Looks like #4 West Plains and #7 Jeff City will go to war in Bolivar in a few days for the chance to head to the Final Four
Seems like West Plains is really on a roll and playing well. After a bit of a slower start to the season, they seem to be in the conversation now for a possible repeat.
WP has now won 11 games in a row after starting the season 11-7
Granted, every loss they have had has been to a very good team. I believe 5 of the 7 losses were to ranked Class 6 opponents
Now I will say this, I still think Carl Junction is the best team in Class 5 right now, and it would take a lot to convince me otherwise.
What a run in the 2nd half. I thought they were done for in the first half. Great job.
I loved the NWMO Quarters being at whatever they now call it Arena in Independence but it was almost like playing in a planetarium which seemed to cause particularly 3 pt shooting percentages to drop. If I get a chance may sneak down to Sedalia after work this Friday and do a stay over.................
