the MBCA had WP @ #1 in their latest on 1/26, but that was also before they lost to Nixa by 5 at home.

West Plains get the win at home and moves to 17-3 on the year.

all state ranked teams.

The poll comes out on Friday. I didn't even notice they dropped Whitfield. Looks like they dropped them for losing to Edwardsville Illinois

I’d say WP will be back down to #2 in the next MBCA poll and will probably be at #2 in the AP as well. Not that it matters. It’s just interesting to get a gauge on what other people think I suppose.
WP has a good 3 game stretch coming that will tell us a lot. As well as determine the OC champ. It’s some good competition in conference this year and last.

The main difference between the COC and the OC is the bottom of the leagues. Neosho is probably the worst team in the COC but they are better than 3 or 4 teams at the bottom of the OC. The top of the leagues are pretty close.

I can agree with that. I would say between WP, Kickapoo and Rolla, for this year at least, the top of the OC is a little better(barely) than the top of the COC. For this year at least.
but overall the COC is definitely better top to bottom. The OC has a few just awful teams.
