Nixa got hot at the end of the half to stretch out the 2 pt lead to 9.
2 charges called against WP, the same girl from Nixa drew both of them.

It does seem like WP is about as good defensively as they were last year but they don't score as easily

Lady Eagles have played more aggressive through the half and are shooting better than WP from outside and Nixa is getting the defensive boards and not giving WP second chances.

Their defense could def be better so far this game.

Nixa is playing well and definitely has the size advantage or at least it looks like it.

WP pulled within 4, then Nixa hit a few threes and stretched it out to 10 pt lead and started playing keep away with about 5 min left in the game.
WP is probably shooting about 12% from 3P as opposed to Nixas 30-40%.
The 9-point advantage gained by Nixa in the first quarter was the deciding factor in my opinion.
WP pulled within 4, then Nixa hit a few threes and stretched it out to 10 pt lead and started playing keep away with about 5 min left in the game.
