Any chance the Birds go after him? He could be their best option for a pinch hitter. :p

Since you love the new stats, I will tell you one. Madbum has the highest hard hit rate against him in the NL. Translation: he throws it. They hit it hard. Real hard.

I said he would make a good pinch hitter. He used to was a pretty dang good pitcher, i have no idea about what he's like now.

That why I just told you. Jeez Louise.
I don't watch every team play like some do and I don't really care what they, or they players, are doing most of the time. I ahem absolutely NO use for Sports Center and other such shows. It has been the ruination of sports. Is he worse than what we have now?

Two weeks ago, he was not throwing well, but I think his last few starts have been much better. Since the Cardinals refuse to have a lefty starter and since he actually shows some fire and determination at times, I would take him.

I don't even know how old he is. Dude used to be nasty.

Would you believe that after 10 years in the league he is only 29. I think that both he and Clayton Kershaw have started the downhill slide. Bum would still give you some decent innings but for how long... and at what price ?

Not cheap I'd bet.
