Schools that played each other for years but have since gone to different Conferences...

1. Phillips has done a great job at Buffalo. The town seems to be really excited for football again. There is no doubt he has something going there. Have they come so far so quick or are they finally just playing in a league and have a schedule that is closer to where they need to be?

2. The Wildcats have struggled since winning the State Title. It has not been a great season but the win over Catholic last week was huge. They are finally getting a little more healthy and getting a chance for the same lineup to play together....

Who wins this "Old School COC Matchup" ?

"Small COC"

lots of talent that have played together since 1st grade, but no question schedules favorable. Besides the 2 losses starters usually set by mid 3rd. BO district matchup probably cost them the opportunity to prove it against other side of Districts winner.

Buffalo does have some senior 2-way starters that are out with season-ending injuries, but I would still take Buffalo by 14. But it could very easily be a close game. Without those couple of seniors their offense isn’t as versatile as it was the first half of the season.

I consider LR a very dangerous opponent for the Bison if they don't jump on them early.
LR had a pretty impressive performance last week against SC who had shellacked them earlier this season. Could be a competitive game.

Bison return some players, as important QB whos battled quad injury since track is healthy, Dynamic will not be a issue, closing in on another 3500 over 30 TD season for JR year.

Buffalo did a great job building that program back up kudos to the AD and Head Coach. Getting in a small conference with winnable games that allowed their coaches to begin the process of creating a winning atmosphere. I would like to see Clinton take a page out of the Bison playbook. Winning builds winning, it should be a great game two really solid coaching staffs with really nice talent. Very classy communities

I think Clinton is going to have a tough time in the MRVC West

AD and HC has nothing to do with it - they’ve got some dudes, mainly their JR qb. I’m still weary that the Bison may drop this game - the only good teams they’ve played, they’ve lost to. Now that IS on the HC.

So let me get this straight. When they win its because of their players. When they lose its because of the coach?

I respect your opinion but I am going to stand by my original post. I hope both teams play well and make their communities proud.
