I think the more likely scenario is that that strength coach will be fired (then he'll sue, and they will settle)

That worked 30 years ago. It's a different world now.

Man needs to keep his hands to himself . I don't care how bad his drunken irish temper is. Nothing good comes from that..He either makes an assistant lose face or a guy that probably benches at least 6 wheels and was a popular ND player drops him in front of God and everyone.

Very unprofessional. Don't make your staff lose face in front of players. That's how you lose teams. He could've taken care of it by stepping in front and then got after him in the coaches office. Lack of control on many fronts.

Funny thing was, it wasn't 30 years ago. About 6 years ago. To my understanding, "he left on his own terms."

Very stupid move by Kelly though, yes.
 
Coach Kelly is a bully I have watched him treat QBs like they are lower
than humans. To push an assistant and make him look like a fool is
absolutely wrong, a head coach should have better self control.
 
Not sure, some type assistant coach arguing with an official. Its not his place which Im assuming is what Kelly is saying " shut your M&$%%@$%# mouth". You guys dont think other head coaches would do that? He grabs the guy by the collar and drives him backward. Think its blown out of proportion but being MOsports and about Notre Dame what a suprise....As long as the above video is what your talking about nothings coming from that except maybe that dude getting fired just for even coming back at the coach.

I personally believe Kelly is justified in being angry. The assistant has no reason to be
talking to the official. HOWEVER, Brian Kelly is a legitimate hot head, with legitimate anger
management issues. Think of it this way...had that young assistant been 6'8'' and benched
pressed 700 pounds, Kelly's butt wouldn't have been over there trying to man-handle him.
I bet deep down Kelly is a giant namby-pamby whose been able to get away with his heavy
handed bs due to his position...

This is a pattern at ND. Prior to Kelly, Charlie Weis was one of the most profane a-holes in the country.
