and 3 games back of the Cardinals after being swept by the Cubs. Cubbies having fun beating up on the top of the division. That along with the Cardinals sweep of the Pirates has the Birds in first place by 3 games and leaves the pirates 5 games out. Cards really need to win this series with the Brewers and hope the Pirates continue to flounder with time running out for anybody not setting atop the standings.

The Brewers are Dorothy's worse night mare, a ToTo collapse. Get it. Play on words...........

Yep, eight big ones on the road coming up. Four in Milwaukee, followed by four in Cincy. Sure would be nice to get five or six of those. Excited to see Wacha Wacha Wacha tonight, if only for 50-60 pitches. Hope he and Lyons can come together for seven or eight solid innings. Birds come back home after those eight for a series against the Brewers...Kicking around the idea of heading back to the Lou for a ZBB concert next Friday and the Saturday game with the Rockies. That might be more fun than I can handle!

Yes Cards going to Brew town,I knew they weren't playing that many at home this time of year. Either way we need to win the series and leave there with a 5 game lead with under 20 to play. A split would be OK but now I'm greedy. The Brewers have been better on the road than at home so maybe that will continue.

Sounds like a great time so I think you should make it happen. Sorry about my lack of knowledge I am an old time rock and roller so it you would of said ZZ Top I would have known exactly what you were talking about.

Zach Brown Band. Riverport. Well Verizon.something now. But still Riverport to me.
You and me both. I always call it "Riverport...but now it's called Verizon something-or-another".

All contingent on g/f's work schedule now. It's a go if she doesn't have to work. Won't know for sure until Tuesday, but my fingers are tightly crossed! I'm with you, I dig the classic rock bands...but I love the folky stuff like ZBB. Sort of like the Eagles to me. My all-time fav band. Saw them, with Joe Walsh once. Wow!
