I was really impressed with Branson's qb and the pirates, like several other coc teams this year are quite a bit improved over recent years.

Carthage is managing the turnovers much better but blocking still looks a bit dodgy. Not sure I really see them as a top team in class 5 this year but we shall see. Everything is a bit odd this season.

As a Jackson-blood for life, I love what Carthage has going for them because they deserve it. 100%. Even though I want to see them lose, I’m happy for them just because it’s a small town public school doing huge things for a less successful program. That said, it’s Jackson, Webb and Carthage this year and NOBODY will come close.
