Bracket for the MAAA Tourney anyone?

I'll take a crack ...

1 Park Hills
bye
8 West County
9 Valley Caledonia
-
4 Potosi
bye
5 Arcadia Valley
12 Kingston
-
-
2 North County
bye
7 Farmington
10 Bismarck
-
3 Ste Genevieve
bye
6 Fredericktown
11 Valle Catholic

I don't think there is any arguing about the top 3 seeds. I really like Ste Genevieve's play as of late and the number of points they are scoring.

Fredericktown's stock fell when they went 1-4 in conference play with their lone win coming against what appears to be a beat up NC team tonight.

AV could see a higher seed as they have split with both Potosi and Ste Gen this year, and have ripped off 10 straight wins. However the small school side is probably the worst it has been in years, and they have a bad loss to Farmington as well. Possibly they could get a 4, but should not be any higher.

If NC heals up I'll take them and Central in the finals, otherwise I'll go with Central and Ste Genevieve. Central to take it all.

I was just thinking yesterday how bad my predictions for this year have been, hah! I picked Fredericktown to be the winner of that district and then they go 1-4 in the conference and I thought Bismarck would be okay with two really good athletes and scorers in Henson and Sago and they've won 5 games. Having said that here's my predictions for seeds

1.) Central
2.) SG
3.) NoCo
4.) Potosi
5.) Fredmo
6.) AV
7.) West County
8.) Farmington
9.) Valley of Caledonia
10.) Bismarck
11.) Valle Catholic
12.)Kingston

Any thoughts on the tournament so far? Looks like we had a few upsets in the past couple days.

Farmington over NC was an upset seed-wise, but NC beat them last week. Farmington played well and held NC to a vey low point total.

Fredmo over SG was also an upset. Fredmo held on and made plays at the end to pull out a win. This too was a low scoring game.
Thursday's games will be good too. Potosi has enough size to slow Central some, but not sure has enough ball-handling or bench. Central plays more kids than most teams which is advantageous on the bigger floor at MAC.

Fredericktown vs. Farmington will be a close game. Dodd has to play well against Farmington's size. Fredmo needs to make sure pauls is covered too--She is playing well.

The score I saw said Farmington beat NC pretty badly a week ago with NC's Forbes resting a sore knee. She didn't start but did play in the game last night but as a team NC did not play well at all. Farmington's size gave them some trouble and they're guard play was better.

Finals are set: Central vs Fredericktown Part IV--Thoughts/Predictions.

Fred-town playing pretty well now--Their guards are shooting it well this week.

Central also playing well--will this be close?

I know it is hard to play a team 4X and win.

Not meaning for this to sound cocky, but if the Lady Rebels play okay, they should win this one. If they struggle offensively, it'll definitely be a ball game. I've said all year that Fredericktown has the ability to make things interesting. If their guards shoot it well and don't throw it away it'll be fun. The Dodd girl has the ability to get the Lady Rebs in foul trouble, but Skaggs has been doing a pretty good job of staying out of foul trouble lately. Based off of my other predictions for this year I think it's clear that I have no idea....
