Borgia @ Camdenton

If they can stop the pass, BORGIA wins. If not Camdenton does in a close game.

Had to make an emergency trip to southeast Missouri today and unfortunately (or fortunately) unable to attend any games Friday night but as I was driving back into central MO I was searching the radio dial and came across the Camdenton game.
Lakers came out in full house backfield running the ball for three yards and a cloud of swirling snow. Occasionally went spread and did complete some passes but announcers seemed surprised to see the run game so predominantly used.

I'm wondering whether the weather dictated the change in scheme for them or whether they just saw something they wanted to exploit. Announcers kept stressing that Borgia's lines were much bigger than Camdenton's and that Camdenton is smaller than usual on the lines.

I would think that’s exactly why they changed.

No. Borgia big.

Or they finally figured out that the spread isn’t going to work for them and running over people is their best bet.
Idk...Depends on what their end goal is I guess. They probably could've run anything from double wing to A-11 to full time swinging gate and had about the same W/L record in regular season and district this year. Only game that might have gone a different direction would have been Lebanon. If the end goal is to give Webb more of a game than last year, I'd suspect they return to the spread. Not saying that's the answer to giving Webb a game, just playing the other side of the coin.
